UK Explores Joining NATO Defense Bank Initiative

The United Kingdom is actively considering joining the Canada-led Defense, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB) initiative, aimed at funding militarization efforts within NATO countries. A UK government official expressed strong interest in the proposal. This initiative, which aims to raise $134 billion for military projects and is expected to be headquartered in Montreal, Canada, could potentially assist the UK in achieving its goal of spending 3% of its GDP on defense by 2030.
