Odisha CM Announces Special Package For Cyclone Arnab Affected Families

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a special relief package for families impacted by Cyclone Arnab and subsequent heavy rainfall. Affected households will receive 50kg of rice and ₹2,500 in cash. Small and marginal farmers facing crop loss of 33% or more will get agricultural input subsidies ranging from ₹8,500 to ₹22,500 per hectare depending on the crop and irrigation type. The Chief Minister stated that relief distribution and restoration are the primary tasks, with normalcy expected to return soon.
