8 Held For Smuggling Gold From Dubai

Customs officials arrested eight passengers at Delhi airport for allegedly smuggling 6.5kg of gold worth nearly ₹9 crore from Dubai. The gold was found concealed in chains under flight seats on Emirates flight EK 514. The arrested individuals, including a woman, reportedly used a modus operandi of wearing gold as jewellery. They were produced before a court and sent to 14-day judicial custody.

दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर कस्टम अधिकारियों ने दुबई से करीब 9 करोड़ रुपये के 6.5 किलो सोने की तस्करी के आरोप में आठ यात्रियों को पकड़ा है। यह सोना Emirates flight EK 514 की सीटों के नीचे चेन के रूप में छिपाया हुआ मिला। पकड़े गए लोगों में एक महिला भी शामिल है। उन्होंने सोने को गहनों के रूप में पहनकर तस्करी का तरीका अपनाया था। सभी को कोर्ट में पेश कर 14 दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
