Nashik Records Rs 120 Crore Gold Business on Dasara Despite Price Rise

Nashik's jewellery market recorded an estimated business turnover of Rs120 crore from gold sales on Dasara, defying a significant rise in gold prices over the past year. Jewellers reported strong demand for gold coins, bars, and ornaments, with many viewing the precious metal as an auspicious investment. The Nashik Jewellers’ Association president noted a 15-20% growth in sales value compared to last year, largely due to higher gold prices.

पिछले साल सोने के दाम में काफी बढ़ोतरी के बावजूद, नासिक के ज्वैलरी बाज़ार में दशहरा पर सोने की बिक्री से लगभग 120 करोड़ रुपये का कारोबार हुआ। ज्वैलर्स ने बताया कि सोने के सिक्के, बार और गहनों की मांग बहुत ज़्यादा थी, और कई लोगों ने कीमती धातु को शुभ निवेश माना। नासिक ज्वैलर्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष ने बताया कि पिछले साल की तुलना में बिक्री के मूल्य में 15-20% की वृद्धि हुई है, जिसका मुख्य कारण सोने की ऊंची कीमतें हैं।
