NIA Court Denies Bail To Punjab Man In Terror Conspiracy Case

A special NIA court in Panchkula has dismissed the bail plea of Parminder Singh, accused in a terror conspiracy case involving drone smuggling of explosives and arms from Pakistan. The court observed that the NIA's collected material prima facie indicated his involvement, attracting statutory restrictions under the UAPA. Parminder was apprehended in a vehicle carrying IEDs, live rounds, and cash. The NIA alleged his recruitment by a Pakistan-based terrorist and his role in identifying drop locations for consignments.

पंचकूला की एक विशेष NIA कोर्ट ने परमिंदर सिंह की जमानत याचिका खारिज कर दी है। वह पाकिस्तान से ड्रोन के जरिए विस्फोटक और हथियार तस्करी से जुड़े एक आतंकी साजिश मामले का आरोपी है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि NIA द्वारा जुटाए गए सबूत पहली नजर में उसकी संलिप्तता दर्शाते हैं, जो UAPA के तहत वैधानिक प्रतिबंधों को आकर्षित करता है। परमिंदर को IED, जिंदा कारतूस और नकदी ले जा रहे एक वाहन से पकड़ा गया था। NIA ने आरोप लगाया कि उसे पाकिस्तान स्थित एक आतंकी ने भर्ती किया था और उसने खेप के लिए ड्रॉप लोकेशन की पहचान करने में भूमिका निभाई थी।
