A grieving family in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, was forced to perform post-death rituals for a 31-year-old woman outside the district hospital mortuary on Saturday. Their landlord refused to allow the body into their rented home, citing the ongoing Navratri festival. The woman, Pooja Rajak, had been battling cancer and passed away during treatment, leaving behind three children. Despite financial struggles and the lack of a permanent home, her father faced the difficult task of arranging her last rites.
