Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has urged the Telangana Irrigation and CAD Department to investigate alleged irregularities concerning the Kondapochamma Sagar Lift Irrigation Project. The MP's letter refers to media reports claiming a special canal was built from the Sagar to Panduranga Cheruvu after 2016. These reports also allege that water was pumped from the tank to a three-acre farmhouse belonging to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
