AISA national president Neha Bora has approached the Delhi High Court challenging a show-cause notice from the Delhi Police. The notice, issued by the New Delhi District Magistrate, demanded a personal bond of ₹10,000 and a surety to maintain peace. Bora's legal team argues the notice is vague, factually incorrect, and violates Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution. AISA alleges the police are surveilling and intimidating student leaders, attempting to criminalize peaceful protest and suppress dissent.
