Odisha's Crime Branch has arrested former SCERT Director, Trinath Pradhan, for alleged errors in textbooks. The investigation revealed acts and omissions leading to the publication and distribution of incorrect educational materials. This resulted in a wrongful loss of approximately ₹175 crore to the State exchequer. The errors in textbooks have raised concerns about the quality of education and accountability within the department.
