Sebi Extends IPO Size Revision Relaxation Till March 2027

Business Standard Markets · stocks

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has extended its relaxation allowing companies to revise the size of fresh issues until March 31, 2027. This move, initially introduced due to the West Asia war, permits IPO-bound companies to adjust their issue size by up to 50 per cent without refiling draft documents. Lead managers must justify revisions and ensure public notification via addendums. This extension aims to support primary market activity amidst ongoing geopolitical strains, following a busy September with significant fundraising.
