Harvard AI Tutor Outperforms Classroom Learning

A Harvard experiment involving 194 undergraduates found that a specialised AI tutor led to more than twice the learning gains compared to traditional active-learning classrooms. Students using the AI also spent less time on lessons. The custom-built AI tutor provided personalised feedback and allowed students to learn at their own pace. This research suggests artificial intelligence could significantly transform higher education teaching methods, particularly in subjects like physics.
