He claimed votes were bought until two days before polling and accused the poll panel of being a mute spectator. Kishor demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, stating the EC's credibility has been questioned for years. He asserted that protests would continue until the electoral process becomes transparent. Kishor also claimed his party forced the government to spend additional money on elections.

जन सुराज के संस्थापक प्रशांत किशोर ने आरोप लगाया है कि चुनाव आयोग बिहार चुनावों में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने में विफल रहा। उन्होंने दावा किया कि मतदान से दो दिन पहले तक वोट खरीदे गए और उन्होंने चुनाव आयोग पर मूक दर्शक बने रहने का आरोप लगाया। किशोर ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त से इस्तीफे की मांग की, यह कहते हुए कि EC की विश्वसनीयता पर वर्षों से सवाल उठते रहे हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि जब तक चुनावी प्रक्रिया पारदर्शी नहीं हो जाती, तब तक विरोध जारी रहेगा। किशोर ने यह भी दावा किया कि उनकी पार्टी ने सरकार को चुनावों पर अतिरिक्त पैसा खर्च करने के लिए मजबूर किया।
