Elon Musk revealed that a former Tesla employee, Ndiaga Diagne, was fired from the Austin factory in December 2025 for violently assaulting a female colleague. The incident occurred when the woman accidentally stepped on his prayer rug while he was praying at the facility. Musk recounted this in a recent interview, stating that Diagne later killed three students in a downtown Austin shooting in March 2026. Musk used the incident to argue against the 'blank slate fallacy,' emphasizing that individuals have different mindsets and motivations.
