Homebuyers Paid In Full Can't Register Flats Due To Builder-Govt Dues: HC

The Allahabad High Court has called it "strange" that homebuyers who have paid in full for their flats cannot register them due to outstanding dues from a real estate company to government agencies. Flat owners of Ajnara Homes in Greater Noida West filed a petition after paying all dues but still not having full ownership. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority stated the developer owes Rs 60 crore, which increased to Rs 84 crore with GST and interest.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने इसे "अजीब" कहा है कि जो खरीदार अपने फ्लैटों के लिए पूरी कीमत चुका चुके हैं, वे एक रियल एस्टेट कंपनी के सरकारी एजेंसियों के बकाया बकाये के कारण उनका रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं करा पा रहे हैं। ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट में अजमेरा होम्स के फ्लैट मालिकों ने सभी बकाया चुकाने के बाद भी पूरा मालिकाना हक न मिलने पर एक याचिका दायर की। ग्रेटर नोएडा औद्योगिक विकास प्राधिकरण ने बताया कि डेवलपर पर 60 करोड़ रुपये बकाया हैं, जो GST और ब्याज के साथ बढ़कर 84 करोड़ रुपये हो गए हैं।
