The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and UP Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) have busted a clandestine mephedrone manufacturing laboratory in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. Officials seized over 1,102 kg of drugs, semi-processed substances, and precursor chemicals valued at more than ₹300 crore. Two individuals, identified as Hemendra Kushwah and Santosh, were arrested in connection with the operation. This bust highlights the increasing spread of clandestine drug production facilities across Uttar Pradesh, moving beyond traditional trafficking routes. Investigators are now probing the source of raw materials and the network's distribution channels.

डायरेक्टोरेट ऑफ रेवेन्यू इंटेलिजेंस (DRI) और यूपी एंटी-टेररिस्ट स्क्वाड (ATS) ने जालौन, उत्तर प्रदेश में एक गुप्त मेफेड्रोन बनाने वाली लैब का भंडाफोड़ किया है। अधिकारियों ने ₹300 करोड़ से अधिक की 1,102 किलोग्राम से अधिक ड्रग्स, अर्ध-प्रसंस्कृत पदार्थ और प्रीकर्सर केमिकल जब्त किए। इस ऑपरेशन के संबंध में 2 लोगों, जिनकी पहचान हेमंत कुशवाहा और संतोष के रूप में हुई है, को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह बरामदगी उत्तर प्रदेश में गुप्त ड्रग उत्पादन सुविधाओं के बढ़ते प्रसार को उजागर करती है, जो पारंपरिक तस्करी मार्गों से परे जा रही हैं। जांचकर्ता अब कच्चे माल के स्रोत और नेटवर्क के वितरण चैनलों की जांच कर रहे हैं।
