San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended for one game by the NFL following an incident during the team's clash with the Seattle Seahawks. The league stated the suspension was for Greenlaw's headbutt on an opponent, which violated sportsmanship principles. Greenlaw will miss the Week 6 matchup against the Washington Commanders but will not face a financial penalty. He has the option to appeal the suspension, which comes after a history of disciplinary issues and previous ejections.
