Bengaluru Traffic Paralyzed by Rain; Authorities Ready Response Teams

Bengaluru experienced severe traffic disruptions on Wednesday, September 30, following multiple spells of rain. Travel times nearly doubled, particularly in eastern parts of the city, with major congestion reported on the Outer Ring Road and at junctions like Marathahalli. Waterlogging was a significant issue at several underpasses and junctions, including Panathur railway underbridge and Doddanekundi Junction. The Greater Bengaluru Development Minister directed officials to prepare response teams and ensure control rooms operate round-the-clock to address waterlogging and fallen trees.

बेंगलुरु में बुधवार, 30 सितंबर को कई बार हुई बारिश के बाद भारी ट्रैफिक जाम हो गया। खासकर शहर के पूर्वी हिस्सों में यात्रा का समय लगभग दोगुना हो गया। आउटर रिंग रोड और मराठाहल्ली जैसे चौराहों पर भारी जाम की खबरें थीं। कई अंडरपास और चौराहों पर जलभराव एक बड़ी समस्या थी, जिसमें पनाथुर रेलवे अंडरब्रिज और डोड्डानेकुंडी जंक्शन शामिल थे। ग्रेटर बेंगलुरु डेवलपमेंट मिनिस्टर ने अधिकारियों को प्रतिक्रिया दल तैयार करने और जलभराव व गिरे हुए पेड़ों से निपटने के लिए कंट्रोल रूम को चौबीसों घंटे चालू रखने का निर्देश दिया।
