Ukraine Ceasefire Holds For Second Day Near Russian-Occupied Town

A local ceasefire brokered by the US around the Russian-occupied town of Oleshky in southern Ukraine has held for its first 30 hours without breaches, according to Ukraine's human rights ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets. The agreement is set to continue until November 1. This truce is intended to allow residents of the frontline town to evacuate. Many have been unable to leave due to near-uninhabitable conditions.

दक्षिणी यूक्रेन के रूसी कब्जे वाले ओलेश्की शहर के आसपास अमेरिका द्वारा कराए गए स्थानीय सीजफायर का पहले 30 घंटे तक कोई उल्लंघन नहीं हुआ है, ऐसा यूक्रेन के मानवाधिकार आयुक्त दिमित्रो लुबिन्ट्स ने बताया है। यह समझौता 1 नवंबर तक जारी रहेगा। इस युद्धविराम का मकसद अग्रिम पंक्ति के शहर के निवासियों को बाहर निकलने देना है। कई लोग लगभग रहने लायक न होने वाली परिस्थितियों के कारण नहीं निकल पाए हैं।
