Doctor Arrested For Taking Bribe For Certificate

An orthopaedic surgeon at the Rudraprayag district hospital was arrested by the Uttarakhand vigilance department for allegedly accepting Rs 5,000 from a specially-abled person. The arrest followed a complaint, after which officials set a trap and caught the doctor with the bribe money. The doctor's residence was also searched as part of the ongoing investigation. Legal action will be taken based on the probe's findings. The vigilance department urged citizens to report corruption through their helpline.

रुद्रप्रयाग जिला अस्पताल के एक हड्डी रोग विशेषज्ञ को उत्तराखंड विजिलेंस विभाग ने एक दिव्यांग व्यक्ति से कथित तौर पर 5,000 रुपये की रिश्वत लेने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। शिकायत के बाद अधिकारियों ने जाल बिछाया और डॉक्टर को रिश्वत की रकम के साथ पकड़ा। चल रही जांच के तहत डॉक्टर के आवास की भी तलाशी ली गई। जांच के निष्कर्षों के आधार पर कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। विजिलेंस विभाग ने नागरिकों से उनके हेल्पलाइन के माध्यम से भ्रष्टाचार की रिपोर्ट करने का आग्रह किया है।
