Bihar Hospitals On 24x7 Alert; Staff Leaves Suspended For Diwali, Chhath

Bihar's government hospitals will operate 24x7 emergency services from November 6 to 17 to manage the festive rush during Diwali and Chhath. Healthcare staff leaves have been suspended, except for emergencies, with directions to ensure adequate manpower, medicines, and facilities. Special arrangements, including burn beds and critical care units, will be in place for festival-related injuries. Medical camps will also be set up at Chhath ghats, and ambulance services will be on high alert. The food safety wing will intensify inspections to prevent adulteration.

दिवाली और छठ के दौरान त्योहारी भीड़ को संभालने के लिए बिहार के सरकारी अस्पताल 6 नवंबर से 17 नवंबर तक 24x7 आपातकालीन सेवाएं चलाएंगे। स्वास्थ्य कर्मचारियों की छुट्टियां आपात स्थिति को छोड़कर निलंबित कर दी गई हैं, और पर्याप्त जनशक्ति, दवाएं और सुविधाएं सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। त्योहारों से संबंधित चोटों के लिए बर्न बेड और क्रिटिकल केयर यूनिट सहित विशेष व्यवस्थाएं की जाएंगी। छठ घाटों पर चिकित्सा शिविर भी लगाए जाएंगे, और एम्बुलेंस सेवाएं हाई अलर्ट पर रहेंगी। मिलावट रोकने के लिए खाद्य सुरक्षा विंग निरीक्षण तेज करेगा।
