Venkaiah Naidu Urges Parties To Avoid Targeting Constitutional Institutions

Former Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu has urged political parties to exercise restraint when criticising constitutional bodies like the Election Commission. He cautioned against dragging these institutions into political controversies and advised opposition parties to carefully consider allegations against the poll panel. Naidu dismissed claims of large-scale voter deletions as a misconception and questioned demands for the Election Commissioner's resignation. He emphasized that personal attacks on constitutional functionaries are inappropriate and can damage the country's reputation, urging responsible expression of disagreements.

पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति एम. वेंकैया नायडू ने राजनीतिक दलों से चुनाव आयोग जैसी संवैधानिक संस्थाओं की आलोचना करते समय संयम बरतने की अपील की है। उन्होंने इन संस्थाओं को राजनीतिक विवादों में घसीटने के खिलाफ आगाह किया और विपक्षी दलों को चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ लगे आरोपों पर सावधानी से विचार करने की सलाह दी। नायडू ने बड़े पैमाने पर मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने के दावों को गलतफहमी बताया और चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांगों पर सवाल उठाया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि संवैधानिक पदाधिकारियों पर व्यक्तिगत हमले अनुचित हैं और देश की प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुंचा सकते हैं, और असहमति को जिम्मेदारी से व्यक्त करने का आग्रह किया।
