While egg freezing is often planned around the menstrual cycle, the absence of periods does not automatically disqualify individuals. The key lies in understanding the underlying cause of menstrual irregularities, such as PMOS, thyroid disorders, or hormonal imbalances, and assessing ovarian function. Doctors evaluate factors like ovarian reserve, follicle count, hormone levels, and age, rather than relying solely on the menstrual pattern.
