Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey stated there are no plans to review the current rule prohibiting stock exchanges from self-listing. He clarified that Sebi is not forming a panel to consider this. Currently, exchanges like BSE and NSE cannot list their shares on their own trading platforms. Pandey also mentioned Sebi is collaborating with the RBI to simplify the onboarding process for foreign portfolio investors (FPIs).
