Tamil Nadu captain Sai Kishore expressed disappointment with his team's lower order batting in the Ranji Trophy opener against Rajasthan. He stated that losing the last four wickets for very few runs prevented the team from securing a first-innings lead. Kishore also noted that the pitch became more spin-friendly as the match progressed, making the toss a significant factor. Despite the batting struggles, he acknowledged strong performances from bowlers Deepesh, Saravana Kumar, and himself, along with contributions from batters Andre Siddarth, Jagadeesan, and Pradosh Ranjan Paul.
