Residents in Vizianagaram's outskirts, including Vasant Vihar Regency and Padmavati Colony, are complaining about severely damaged roads. Key stretches like the one from Vasant Vihar Regency to Dharmapuri Degree College and between Ice Factory Junction and Dharmapuri are in poor condition. Roads from Cantonment to K.L. Puram were also affected by recent rains and waterlogging. Residents are urging the Vizianagaram Municipal Corporation to expedite repairs, highlighting that they pay property tax but lack basic civic amenities. One resident sustained injuries from a motorcycle fall due to the road conditions.
