India's trade deficit expanded to $30.43 billion in June as imports surged 31% year-on-year, significantly outpacing a 15.5% rise in exports. For the April-June quarter, imports grew 19.89% while exports rose 15.92%, further widening the deficit. This trend indicates a growing reliance on foreign goods, potentially impacting the country's balance of payments and currency value.

जून में भारत का व्यापार घाटा बढ़कर 30.43 अरब डॉलर हो गया। ऐसा इसलिए हुआ क्योंकि आयात में 31% की भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई, जो निर्यात में हुई 15.5% की वृद्धि से कहीं ज़्यादा है। अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में भी आयात 19.89% बढ़ा जबकि निर्यात 15.92% बढ़ा, जिससे घाटा और बढ़ गया। यह दिखाता है कि देश विदेशी सामानों पर ज़्यादा निर्भर हो रहा है, जिसका असर भुगतान संतुलन और मुद्रा के मूल्य पर पड़ सकता है।
