DYFI Protesters Block Road in Sholinghur Town Demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar's Resignation

Members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) staged a road blockade on Sholinghur Main Road in Ranipet on Friday. They demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and condemned alleged police excess during protests in Delhi. The protesters also accused the BJP-led Union government of vote theft through the CEC. Police removed the protesters and detained 15 individuals, including women, before releasing them. A case has been registered regarding the incident.

डेमोक्रेटिक यूथ फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (DYFI) के सदस्यों ने शुक्रवार को रानीपेट के शोलींगुर मेन रोड पर सड़क जाम किया। उन्होंने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग की और दिल्ली में विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित पुलिस बर्बरता की निंदा की। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने बीजेपी के नेतृत्व वाली केंद्र सरकार पर सीईसी के माध्यम से वोट चोरी का आरोप भी लगाया। पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों को हटा दिया और महिलाओं सहित 15 लोगों को हिरासत में लिया, बाद में उन्हें रिहा कर दिया गया। घटना के संबंध में मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
