The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has refused a request from its over-50s team to participate in the International Masters Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held in India next January. PCB chairman and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi informed the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) that the team is not permitted to travel to India. The PVCA had sought permission after assurances of visas and security, but the PCB cited strained relations between the two nations. Pakistan and India typically only play each other in multi-nation events.
