Kerala's Leader of the Opposition, Pinarayi Vijayan, has strongly criticized the Sudha Pillai committee report examining the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB). He described the report and Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan's praise for it as a challenge to the state, calling the report a mere political document that echoed baseless allegations. Vijayan highlighted KIIFB's role in completing ₹40,000 crore worth of development projects, stating that destroying it would be a historical blunder and cruelty to future generations.
