Six Killed in Athens Building Explosion

An explosion near Athens' Acropolis has killed six people, including four American tourists. The blast completely leveled a two-story residential building in the historic Plaka district where the tourists were staying. Emergency crews recovered six bodies from the rubble on Saturday. Authorities believe a major gas leak caused the powerful explosion, which also damaged nearby structures and vehicles. The U.S. Ambassador to Greece expressed deep sadness over the deaths of the American citizens.
