Jharkhand Man Kills Sisters in Ritual To 'Cure' Himself, Arrested

A 45-year-old man in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district has been arrested for allegedly killing his two sisters, aged 55 and 50, with an axe. Police stated the man confessed to the murders, claiming they were part of a ritual to cure himself of illnesses. He reportedly walked 15 km to the police station to surrender after the incident in Babaida village. Medicines were found at his house, and he was undergoing treatment from a village sorcerer. The axe used in the crime has been recovered.

झारखंड के पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले में एक 45 साल के आदमी को अपनी 55 और 50 साल की दो बहनों की कुल्हाड़ी से हत्या करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। पुलिस ने बताया कि आदमी ने हत्याओं को कबूल किया है, उसने दावा किया कि यह खुद को बीमारियों से 'ठीक' करने के लिए एक रस्म का हिस्सा था। घटना बाबाडीह गांव में हुई, जिसके बाद उसने कथित तौर पर आत्मसमर्पण करने के लिए पुलिस स्टेशन तक 15 किमी पैदल चला। उसके घर से दवाइयां मिलीं, और वह एक तांत्रिक से इलाज करा रहा था। अपराध में इस्तेमाल की गई कुल्हाड़ी भी बरामद कर ली गई है।
