Many continue to support family members, highlighting a gap between financial independence and security. Age bias is a significant barrier, with nearly half of those facing employment challenges reporting that employers prefer younger candidates. The survey, conducted at the 11th Job Fair for Senior Citizens, also noted that over 73% of respondents held graduate degrees or higher, indicating a skilled workforce available for employment.
