Tamil Nadu Releases Higher Dengue Case Figures

Tamil Nadu's Health Department has released its own dengue figures for 2023, 2024, and 2025, showing significantly higher case counts than those reported by the Union Health Ministry's NCVBDC. The State's data includes cases confirmed by rapid diagnostic tests, not just NS1 antigen and IgM antibody tests. While case numbers differ, both datasets report the same number of deaths: 12 in 2023, 13 in 2024, and 12 in 2025.

तमिलनाडु के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने 2023, 2024 और 2025 के लिए डेंगू के अपने आंकड़े जारी किए हैं। इन आंकड़ों में केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के NCVBDC द्वारा बताए गए मामलों से काफी ज़्यादा केस दिख रहे हैं। राज्य के आंकड़ों में रैपिड डायग्नोस्टिक टेस्ट से कन्फर्म हुए केस भी शामिल हैं, सिर्फ NS1 एंटीजन और IgM एंटीबॉडी टेस्ट वाले ही नहीं।
