Himachal LoP Accuses Congress Govt of Betraying Orchardists, Neglecting Development

Himachal Pradesh Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur has accused the Congress government of betraying the state's orchardists and failing to fulfill its promises. He alleged that apple growers are awaiting payments under the Market Intervention Scheme and the government is avoiding procurement of their produce. Thakur also claimed the government is prioritizing loans and self-preservation over development, leading to a state debt of Rs 1.20 lakh crore. He further criticized the alleged deterioration of healthcare facilities under the current administration.

हिमाचल प्रदेश के नेता प्रतिपक्ष जय राम ठाकुर ने कांग्रेस सरकार पर राज्य के बागवानों को धोखा देने और अपने वादे पूरे न करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सेब उत्पादक मार्केट इंटरवेंशन स्कीम के तहत भुगतान का इंतजार कर रहे हैं और सरकार उनकी उपज की खरीद से बच रही है। ठाकुर ने यह भी दावा किया कि सरकार विकास की बजाय कर्ज और आत्म-संरक्षण को प्राथमिकता दे रही है, जिससे राज्य पर 1.20 लाख करोड़ रुपये का कर्ज हो गया है। उन्होंने मौजूदा प्रशासन के तहत स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं में कथित गिरावट की भी आलोचना की।
