Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reviewed a wildlife rescue operation in Shajapur district, where 1,236 blackbucks and nilgai have been relocated to safer forest areas. The drive, utilizing the BOMA method with assistance from South African experts, aims to shift 2,000 blackbucks in its second phase. This initiative, running from October 9 to October 31, 2026, seeks to protect crops from wild animals while ensuring the safety of the wildlife. The helicopter-assisted rescue is noted as the first of its kind in South Asia.
