Telangana Election Commission Receives 8.38 Lakh Claims

The Election Commission of India has received 8,38,558 claims and objections for electoral roll revision in Telangana. Over half of these applications, totaling 4,43,705, are for fresh voter enrollment. Another significant portion, 3,57,898, are for corrections. Applications for deletion are relatively low at 30,676. The processing of these applications is ongoing, with a large number still pending verification. Hyderabad district has seen the highest number of applications.

भारत के चुनाव आयोग को तेलंगाना में मतदाता सूची संशोधन के लिए 8,38,558 दावे और आपत्तियां मिली हैं। इनमें से आधे से ज़्यादा आवेदन, कुल 4,43,705, नए मतदाता के नाम जोड़ने के लिए हैं। एक बड़ा हिस्सा, 3,57,898, सुधार के लिए है। नाम हटाने के आवेदन अपेक्षाकृत कम, 30,676 हैं। इन आवेदनों पर कार्रवाई चल रही है, और कई अभी भी सत्यापन के लिए लंबित हैं। हैदराबाद जिले में सबसे ज़्यादा आवेदन आए हैं।
