100 Cyclists to Tackle 130km Himalayan Challenge in Shimla

Nearly 100 cyclists from 20 Indian states will compete in the 13th MTB Shimla 2026, a 130km mountain biking race through challenging Himalayan terrain. The event, scheduled to 25, features a prize purse of Rs 8 lakh and includes 3,800 metres of elevation gain. Organized by HASTPA with government support, the race will traverse rugged trails and wildlife sanctuaries. Additionally, a road safety and helmet awareness campaign will be conducted to promote responsible riding and green mobility.

20 भारतीय राज्यों के लगभग 100 साइकिल सवार 13वें MTB शिमला 2026 में भाग लेंगे, जो चुनौतीपूर्ण हिमालयी इलाके में 130 किमी की माउंटेन बाइकिंग रेस है। 25 को होने वाले इस आयोजन में 8 लाख रुपये की पुरस्कार राशि है और इसमें 3,800 मीटर की ऊंचाई चढ़ाई शामिल है। HASTPA द्वारा सरकारी समर्थन से आयोजित, यह रेस बीहड़ पगडंडियों और वन्यजीव अभयारण्यों से होकर गुजरेगी। इसके अतिरिक्त, जिम्मेदार सवारी और हरित गतिशीलता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक सड़क सुरक्षा और हेलमेट जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जाएगा।
