Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra has accused the state government of political vendetta after it scrapped the Sikar Master Plan 2041. Dotasra alleges the move, which withdraws a plan prepared at a cost of Rs 5 crore, is illegal and benefits real estate interests at the expense of planned development. He stated the plan was crucial for the city's growth, including provisions for coaching centres, new colonies, and green spaces. Dotasra believes the decision penalizes Sikar for its electoral choices and will delay development while wasting public funds.

राजस्थान कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा ने राज्य सरकार पर राजनीतिक बदले की भावना का आरोप लगाया है, जिसके बाद सीकर मास्टर प्लान 2041 को रद्द कर दिया गया है। डोटासरा का आरोप है कि 5 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से तैयार की गई योजना को वापस लेने का यह कदम अवैध है और सुनियोजित विकास की कीमत पर रियल एस्टेट हितों को लाभ पहुंचाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह योजना कोचिंग सेंटरों, नई कॉलोनियों और हरित क्षेत्रों सहित शहर के विकास के लिए महत्वपूर्ण थी। डोटासरा का मानना है कि इस फैसले से सीकर को उसके चुनावी नतीजों के लिए दंडित किया गया है और इससे विकास में देरी होगी, साथ ही जनता के पैसे बर्बाद होंगे।
