Russia Designates Novaya Gazeta Foreign Agent

Russia has officially designated the independent newspaper Novaya Gazeta as a "foreign agent." This designation also applies to poet Sergey Leibgrad and writer/journalist Felix Sandalov. The move restricts the activities of the listed individuals and organizations within Russia. Novaya Gazeta, known for its critical reporting, joins a growing list of entities labeled as foreign agents by the Russian government.
