Ayodhya Deepotsav 2026 To Honour Potters And Their Craft

TV9 Hindi · good-news

The upcoming Ayodhya Deepotsav in 2026, featuring 30 lakh diyas, will extend beyond religious tradition to honour the 'potters of clay' who make the event possible. This initiative, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aligns with the concept of Antyodaya by ensuring economic opportunities reach the grassroots. The demand for millions of diyas revitalizes the ancestral craft, preventing migration and providing employment. This decentralised approach benefits potters across multiple districts, showcasing a blend of cultural pride and economic empowerment through local products.
