ED Raids 7 Locations in APPSC Group-1 Exam Scam Probe

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has conducted searches at seven locations in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Guntur district as part of its investigation into the APPSC Group-I Main Examination evaluation scam. The probe, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, follows allegations of irregularities in the manual evaluation of answer scripts. Investigators suspect that Rs 1.14 crore was paid to a private agency for services allegedly never rendered, with answer scripts possibly shifted to a resort for a period.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने APPSC ग्रुप-1 मुख्य परीक्षा मूल्यांकन घोटाले की जांच के तहत हैदराबाद, सिकंदराबाद और गुंटूर जिले में सात जगहों पर तलाशी ली है। यह जांच मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग रोकथाम अधिनियम के तहत की जा रही है, जिसमें उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं के मैन्युअल मूल्यांकन में अनियमितताओं के आरोप लगे हैं। जांचकर्ताओं को शक है कि एक निजी एजेंसी को कथित तौर पर कभी न की गई सेवाओं के लिए 1.14 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान किया गया था, और उत्तर पुस्तिकाएं संभवतः कुछ समय के लिए एक रिसॉर्ट में ले जाई गई थीं।
