CAQM Modifies GRAP Rules for Delhi-NCR

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has revised the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) for Delhi-NCR, introducing new restrictions to combat worsening air pollution. Key changes include extending restrictions on older vehicles to Sonipat, Haryana, and moving some bus entry restrictions to GRAP-1. The exemption for certain goods vehicles carrying essential commodities under GRAP-3 and GRAP-4 has also been removed. These modifications aim to manage air quality as the region approaches the winter pollution season.
