GCC Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia Amid Intensified Yemen Fighting

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned repeated attacks by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi fighters on Saudi Arabia, pledging full support for the kingdom. The bloc invoked a joint defence agreement, stating an attack on one member affects all. This condemnation follows reports of the Saudi-led coalition intercepting drones near Riyadh and in the Eastern Province. Gulf ministers also urged tighter enforcement of the UN arms embargo against the Houthis and called for their formal designation as a terrorist organisation.
