Manipur Violence Claims Five Lives Amidst Fresh Clashes

At least five people have been killed in separate incidents of clashes and village attacks in Manipur's Kamjong and Ukhrul districts since Friday evening. Armed groups, including those from Myanmar, are reported to be involved in the violence. A Kuki woman and a Gurkha farmer were among those killed. The incidents follow a recent security operation that defused 27 IEDs along the Myanmar border. Tensions remain high as Kuki and Naga groups blame each other's extremist factions for the casualties.
