Ukraine to Halt Russia Refinery Attacks If US Provides Patriot Missiles

Hindustan Times · world

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that his country would cease attacks on Russian oil refineries if the United States provides Patriot interceptor missiles. Zelensky mentioned having discussions with US officials about this proposal, linking Ukraine's response to Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure. He suggested that if the US supplied missiles for one month, Ukraine would reciprocate by halting refinery strikes for the same period. Zelensky emphasized that this is not leveraging but sharing truth between partners, as Ukraine's Patriot missile supplies are dwindling.
