Starlink Service Restored For Ukraine, But Future Remains Uncertain

France24 World · world

SpaceX's Starlink internet service has been restored in Ukraine, following concerns that Donald Trump and Elon Musk might cut off access. The decision to slow down the service was felt immediately, with air raid warnings failing to sound. This move raised questions about Ukraine's ability to withstand daily strikes from Russia's new drones. The restoration offers temporary relief, but the long-term availability of the crucial communication link remains uncertain, impacting Ukraine's defense capabilities.
