West Indies captain Shai Hope is on the verge of breaking several batting records in the series-deciding fifth T20I against India. Having scored 261 runs so far, Hope needs 71 more to surpass Phil Salt's record for most runs in a bilateral T20I series. He also has a chance to set a new mark for most runs by a captain in a bilateral T20I series, potentially overtaking Babar Azam's record with 25 runs. Furthermore, another century would make Hope the first captain to score four T20I centuries.
