An FIR was registered on October 20 at Chandrakona police station against 13 individuals reportedly linked to Bajrang Dal. The complaint details accusations of assault, humiliation, and coercion, including forced purification rituals and threats. The families allege the attacks began on October 18 and continued for three days. No arrests have been made yet, but police personnel are now stationed outside the victims' homes.
