Sweden's centre-left opposition bloc is projected to win 51.3 percent of the vote, according to an exit poll by public broadcaster SVT. The right-wing bloc trailed with 46.8 percent. Voting concluded on Sunday, with official counting underway. While exit polls are indicative, they have not always been accurate, as seen in the 2022 election. A win for the centre-left could offer respite to left-leaning parties across Europe facing a rise in right-wing support.
