Karnataka's Home Department has established three committees, each led by a retired Director General of Police, to propose specific police reforms within two months. These committees, comprising retired and serving officers, will focus on enhancing efficiency, transparency, and technology adoption in police services. One panel will review citizen-facing services like FIR registration and complaint handling, while another will develop a modernization plan for infrastructure and emerging technologies. The third committee will examine the department's cadre structure, recruitment rules, and career progression to align with current and future needs.

कर्नाटक के गृह विभाग ने पुलिस सुधारों के लिए तीन समितियां बनाई हैं। हर समिति का नेतृत्व एक रिटायर्ड डायरेक्टर जनरल ऑफ पुलिस करेंगे और ये दो महीने में सुधारों का प्रस्ताव देंगी। इन समितियों में रिटायर्ड और सेवारत अधिकारी शामिल होंगे। ये पुलिस सेवाओं में कुशलता, पारदर्शिता और टेक्नोलॉजी के इस्तेमाल को बेहतर बनाने पर ध्यान देंगी। एक समिति FIR दर्ज करने और शिकायतें संभालने जैसी नागरिक-सामना करने वाली सेवाओं की समीक्षा करेगी। दूसरी समिति इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और नई टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए एक आधुनिकीकरण योजना बनाएगी। तीसरी समिति विभाग के कैडर स्ट्रक्चर, भर्ती नियमों और करियर की प्रगति की जांच करेगी ताकि वर्तमान और भविष्य की जरूरतों के अनुसार ढाला जा सके।
